The study´s purposes were to identify a channel enabling the inflow of investments to the domestic phonographic market as well as to present a profitable business model, considering the downward sales tendency and the income concentration of the industry. Through conducting a research among the agents, it was possible to gather the most important characteristics of the current market and information concerning the barriers toward industry development. The proposal consists in gathering financial resources through an investment fund, administrated and distributed by a financial institution and managed by the record company, and having a share on concerts and image rights of upcoming artists. Hence, the model presents financial gain to the shareholders and also to the record companies, by holding a share on the result of the fund.
