This study aims to identify young adults` perceptions about
private pension
plans. This segment of consumers seems not to receive
attention enough from
the institutions that sell this kind of investments. An
exploratory study was carried
through, using as mainly method focused interviews with 15
young adults
between 20 and 30 years old. The results aim, between
others aspects, for the
lack of knowledge regarding private pensions plans as much
due to interest, as
for the little or inadequate spreading in relation to the
subject. This indicates that
is necessary improve the kind and form of disclosure this
for reach young adults
