The purpose of this study is to elaborate and to analyze the Social Balance of Rio Polímeros S/A (RIO POL). For that, was made a research of the principal information related to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at RIO POL, those information were organized in the model of Social Balance provided by Instituto Brasileiro de Análises Sociais e Econômicas (Ibase). This is another function of Companies management; the choice of this issue is justified by the fact that CSR is performing an strategically function, so in it s specific actuation area at the company as it s contribution to societies and environmental development, particularly to the area next to industrial plant of RIO POL.
