Resumo:
This paper consists in a case study of the partnership between Rexam, aluminum can supplier and Pitú, beverage manufacturer. It has the purpose of identify and describe, based on marketing conceptions, the main reasons which have influenced the success of this partnership. With the description of the industrial marketing strategy used by Rexam to this customer and the analysis of the characteristics of the relationship between them, it was possible to identify the reasons for this success. The customer services provided by Rexam have a strong influence in this partnership, because they improve the value of the product supplied and provide better competitive advantage to Pitú in its consumer market. In order to contribute to the improvement of this relationship, this case study also has the purpose of identify its weaknesses and make suggestions to minimize them.
