Resumo:
This study has the purpose of identifying the opportunities a multipurpose arena has for generating revenue through different sports marketing strategies. Although sport marketing is consolidated in Brazil, there are few professionals who explore all the possibilities a multipurpose arena can offer to increase clubs wealth. For this study, two multipurpose arenas were identified: Kyocera Arena, property of Atlético Paranaense-PR, and Arena Joinville, owned by the city of Joinville government. Then an interview was done with one responsible in each arena and it has become clear that there are several possibilities of revenue generation on these arenas, turning them into viable project.
