Resumo:
This work looked for disclose how the sensation of insecurity on the city of Rio De Janeiro can affect the jewel consumption of part of the customers of the Sara Joias company in the branch offices of this city. A bibliographical research concerning the behavior of consumption of luxury good was carried through, as well as a field research where Sara Joias managers, sllers and custumers had been interviewed in Rio de Janeiro. The data of the gotten ones in the field research had been collated with what the theory told and thus the results had been gotten that, finally, had generated insights about how the insecurity sensation can affect the purchase behavior of luxury good.
