Considering the current great need to approach the private market to the public authorities, on a federal, state and municipal levels, this monography will describe through a public urban area adoption project, carried out within the county of Rio de Janeiro, a effective partnership, where it is possible to extract beautifullnes, profitability and publicity on such public urban areas. Beyond being extremely profitable to the private entrepeneurs, as well to the public finances, the county does not need to be responsible for such public areas anymore. The project also aims to improve the local life quality, connecting the social resposability, the environment quality and the participating partners.
