This coursework has as its main objective the analysis on
how the organizational culture of Bergitex Indústria
Têxtil Ltda reflects on its performance and achievements.
This study is composed of two researches, the first being
documental and the second constituting field work. In
relation to the documental research, a revision on the
literature regarding the theme can be noted, as well as
the analysis of documents granted by the company. The
fieldwork is characterized by a series of interviews
realized with the staff and directors of the company,
inside its headquarters.
The results observed were that the company presents an
extremely centralized management that eventually
influences its achievements in a series of
manners. Among the influences observed, the lack of
motivation of part of the staff and the delay in a series
of simple procedures can be highlighted.
