The purpose of this work was to identify the relationship
degree it enters an Logistic Providers and its contractor.
Initially the study it presents a bibliographical revision
of the logistic one, detaching the definition of Logistic
Providers, target of performance, origin, attributions and
criteria for election and pointers of performance. After
that the main benefits, risks and barriers are
presented associates to the use of Logistic Providers.
Amongst the benefits they are distinguished: devotion to
core business, improvement of the service level,
flexibility in the attendance to the demand. How much to
the relationship, the level of partnership was determined
based on the motivadores and the characteristics of the
important PSL for the relationship.
