This study promotes an analysis on the FUNDEF- Fund of
Maintenance an Development of Basic Education and of
Valuation of the Teaching, main politics of financing of
the Brazilian public education in the years 90, observing
the diverse processes of control and fiscalization,
basically exerted for the advice of accompaniment and
social control of the FUNDEF, understanding the actions of
this advice in three instances: Union, state of Rio de
Janeiro and, in special, in the cities of Duque de Caxias
and Rio de Janeiro.
