Resumo:
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology along with the Electronic Product Code (EPC) created a new complex environment for warehouses systems and supply chain systems in general. The EPC specification created one more level of identification: the product instance. This new level of identification had blown the volume of data being managed by applications. That fact, along with the deployment of distributed RFID readers, causes the necessity of new applications capable of interacting with this infrastructure and capable of processing, filtering and interpreting these new data. This work proposes a framework for distributed multi-agent systems capable of interacting with a deployed RFID infrastructure.
