The fast-paced development of Information Technology, particularly through the expansion of the Internet, has created a new field of work which has not been yet fully explored by designers. This dissertation points out a few possibilities concerning how designers can introduce themselves on the web, focusing on cyberfolios, that is, sites which represent them in such environment. To accomplish that, aspects of communication in cyberspace and the reaching power of the new media have been taken into account, through the investigation of how professionals interact with cyberfolios, whether as visitors - potential customers - or authors.
