Resumo:
The main objective of this work is to analyze, from the comparative method, the way in which the Magüta Museum, located in the city of Benjamin Constant, Amazonas, and the Museum of the Missionaries of Amazonas, which is in the city of Assisi, Italy, deal with Ticuna artifacts. Such analysis has as its regulatory framework the fire at the National Museum, which occurred on September 2, 2018. To better understand the process of creation of these museums, the research entitled Revisiting the Éware from the Magüta Museum and the Museum of the Missionaries of Amazonas takes into account the process of creation of these museums, the formation of the collection, the elements contained in the current exhibition, and, finally, the narrative of these museums. In a transversal way, this research is based on the debate provoked by the encounter between the movement that is conventionally called decolonial anthropology and New Museology. Thus, together with the trajectory of these museums, it is possible to understand the process of assimilation of the museum by the Ticuna, on the one hand, and the missionary work carried out by the Capuchins of Umbria in Amazonas, on the other.
