This work aims to present an Executive Project for the Recovery of
Degraded Areas in sections of the marginal protection strip of Marapendi lagoon
(Rio de Janeiro Municipality) through the recommendation of actions aimed at
revitalizing these areas through services for the preservation of native species,
control of invasive exotic species, revegetation with native species of local flora
with emphasis on species attractive to wildlife, considering the recommendations
contained in the Inspection Report, dated 10/31/2018, prepared by the
Environmental Conservation Units Management of the Municipal Secretariat of
Conservation and Environment (GUCA/SCMA) and in line with the general and
specific objectives of the Management Plan of the Marapendi Municipal Natural
Park and the Marapendi Environmental Protection Area (APA), so that they are
partially returned to the APA and the PNMM. An observation and photographic
documentation work was carried out within the Marapendi Municipal Natural Park
(PNMM) and its surroundings.
