The implementation of an efficient freight conference and payment process is important to ensure that contractual agreements are fulfilled and that the cash flow of the companies involved is not penalized due to errors or inefficiencies in the process. That said, the present work aims to apply process mining techniques in a conference and freight payment cell of a Brazilian lubricant manufacturing company, in order to find the current process model, identify possible inefficiencies and deviations from the standard process. and propose improvements. As a result, it can be observed that the five carriers analyzed presented the activities Review Document as a bottleneck and Export Invoice as the most frequent. This bottleneck justifies the extensions in the process, in addition to the recurring discrepancies in the invoices sent for verification in the REVIEW DOCUMENT stage. A three-step action plan (process, people and technology) was proposed to improve the current process and bring it closer to the standard process.
