Resumo:
Currently, the education provided to students in Basic Education is generally insufficient when considering the challenges they face in entering the job market. The approach of offering elementary and traditional mathematics instruction does not meet the future needs of students. It is understood that better preparation is necessary for both students and teachers in regard to the teaching activity. This work aims to present, in a concise and discursive manner, the Entrepreneurial Education project and highlight its potential contributions to education today, particularly in mathematics classes. There is a need for a basic and initial educational formation with the aim of preparing these students who, in the future, will seek their place in the job market. This entrepreneurial approach in mathematics classes, in turn, can offer a range of opportunities and diverse skills, such as teamwork, the ability to resolve conflicts with sagacity, and the presentation of problem-solving situations related to a company, as well as its specific terms.
