Resumo:
The present master s thesis aims to analyze the Permanent Education Policy of the CFESS/CRESS as a strategy for (re)affirming the Ethical-Political Project of Social Work. It seeks to reflect on bourgeois education for the formation of human capital and education from an emancipatory and counter-hegemonic perspective; to examine the process of transformation and precarization in the world of work and its repercussions on Social Work in the context of contemporary capitalism; and to understand the intensification of the precarization of the social worker s labor. The guiding question of this research is that the Permanent Education Policy of the CFESS/CRESS streng thens the Ethical Political Project of Social Work, however, the advancement of labor precarization impacts the spaces of organization and training of social workers. This is a qualitative research, with methodological strategies involving literature review and documentary research with analysis of documents from the CFESS/CRESS, Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep), International Labour Organization (ILO), Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), and World Bank reports. Data analysis shows the intrinsic relationship between education and work, the commodification of education, and the importance of education as a tool for human emancipation. It also highlights the challenges faced by Social Work in advocating for a permanent education.
