Resumo: | |||||||||||||
The reality of capital presents us with a world where commodities are the centrality of social relations. In this dissertation, we take a closer look at the human being who is distanced from his creative capacity and dehumanized by the alienation of capital. However, not all seems lost when, by looking at the contradictions of this logic, we identify openings for the de-alienation of the human being provided by their creative and insurgent essence. We propose to emphasize the protagonism and creative potential of human beings based on the idea of the creative subject. In a constant process of becoming, its realization produces social relations and new disalienating spatial forms. Based on the contributions of the theory of alienation and the concepts of work and production, as elaborated by Karl Marx, and of the Marxist critical geography, we understand space as an essential dimension for the emancipation of human beings in the world of capital. The Zapatista movement, the insurrections in Chile and the June Journeys in Brazil, as well as community urban gardening projects and collective kitchens in large urban centers, are pointed out as opposing productive alienation by being carried out in a self-organized and emancipatory way.
