It is estimated that, in Brazil, we have about 220,000 cases of Parkinson s disease. People with Parkinson s experience difficulties when carryinout activities in their routine because of tremors. The advancement of Assistive Technologies contributes to the inclusion process, with the research anddevelopment of devices focused on accessibility, which can help people withParkinson s in carrying out daily activities. This work aims to present VerStick, an Assistive Technology proposal to help people with Parkinson s toperform activities with their hand holding certain objects. VerStick was initially designed to support the activities of eating, brushing teeth, and combinghair. We evaluated the device with users, who made suggestions regarding itsusability, structure, and interface.
