This work aims to analyze the transformations in exhibition spaces and access
to art, from the production and circulation of images from Tarsila do Amaral;
exhibitions in two different periods: in the 1920s and almost a hundred years later,
in 2019. The goal is to understand this phenomenon in the contemporary context in
which art is directly related to technology, production and imagery circulation in
social media. Thus, we will rely on historical references to understand what new
meanings the images produce when they are displayed on Instagram, mediated by
the audience of the Tarsila Popular exhibition, in 2019.
