Resumo:
In this dissertation, we investigate the notions of body, design and fashion articulated to the production of subjectivity in the field of design, through methods and practices of drawing, especially those of creation in fashion. We started with a bibliographic and imagery review to raise and analyze concepts related to the themes and expand the definitions contained in the research object. We present drawing as an action and as a growing territory in methods and practices capable of creating relationships and encounters as forms of engagement within the field of design. In order to do so, we use the works of Richard Serra, Oskar Schlemmer, Frida Kahlo, Auguste Rodin and Henri Matisse and the reading of Michel Foucault, David Le Breton, Gilda Mello e Souza, Georg Simmel, among other authors, as well as the review of the methods and practices developed in the discipline Creation in Fashion between 2007 and 2021, at the Department of Arts and Design, at PUC Rio, concluding that practices that involve the body and thought are fundamental for an expanded perception of design.
