In the beginning of the 1970, visual artist Antonio Manuel
accomplished the
work known as Super jornais-clandestinos (Super newspapers -
clandestine). The
project consisted of interventions, on some copies, along
the front pages of a few
issues of daily newspaper O Dia. The present work intends
to investigate the
circumstances for the development of that art work, as well
as the artist`s notion of
alterity, of being someone else who also provides
information - considering that he
accomplishes a clandestine graphic design.
