Resumo:
The criticism of subject in Michel Foucaults archaeology, specially as shown in Les mots et les choses and L archéologie du savoir, has its focus on the investigation into the historical emergency of human sciences and the theoretical attempt to elaborate what the french philosopher calls an archeological history. This work intends to develop a systematic reading on Foucaults criticism of the notion of subject in the period in which the achievement of a new philosophical history an archeological history is his main concern. Considering this, we must not only put togheter the essential points of Foucaults criticism towards modern philosophical humanism, but also explain the foundations of his archeological method. The next step is an attempt to analize what could be called the critical deconstruction of the modern subject-philosophy achieved by Foucault in the works above.
