The film is a living organism that is among the men and things, and some of his movements are seeking a sense for what happens in the range between our arrival and departure; the pursuit of happiness, the reunion with the other and the world. The work seeks the common lines and that differ at American comedies of the years 30 and 40, studied by Stanley Cavell, the Brazilian comedies at the end of 50 and two films Little Loving Dictionaries, produced on 1997 and 2016. There is in common between them the impulse of his characters to become better, to recognize the existence of each other and overcome the skepticism that paralyzes us and confines the impossibility of knowledge. To recognize and accept the limits of existence and knowledge the comedy do not launches us in skepticism, or makes us laugh in life, it would be cynical, but teaches us to laugh in life and sets us free.
