This dissertation analyses the 1970s artistic work of the composers Francis Hime and Chico Buarque the decade of the duos s greatest productions. The study is set in the fragmented narrative space of an emotional field with inserted and interposed fictional and essay writing styles. The dissertation seeks to present this unique partnership, still little explored by academic criticism and the media, and that was not created exclusively for the disc format, but also soudtracks for films and theater plays.
