Resumo:
The object of study of this work is Carlos Zéfiro, the most famous author of revistinhas de sacanagem, a typically Brazilian comics genre, very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Initially, we intend to examine how their narratives are built to achieve the purpose of sexually excite your reader. We will also propose a reflection on the author status of Carlos Zéfiro, discussing the exclusivity of Alcides Caminha as the biographical component of the author unit Carlos Zéfiro (therefore, as the only artisticcreative reference and unique responsible for its existence). Lastly, we are going to investigate the resignification of Zéfiro and his work from the 1980s to the present day, seeking to understand the composition of a discourse that classifies it as a symbol of Brazilian sexuality and the precursor of a national market for sexual publications.
