Resumo:
The advent of the Social Assistance/Suas system brought important changes in welfare policy rewrite including the management of the work. Based on this assertion, this dissertation aims to analyze the management of work in the municipality of Resende, based on the vision of the managers and professionals of psychology and social service due to its integration with all ITS structures. To achieve the proposed objective opted for a qualitative approach and bibliographical and documentary research. The documentary research data were obtained from THEIR CENSUS, SAGI-MDS, report of the municipal Social Assistance Council during 2010 to 2013, and field research happened upon focus group with managers and questionnaires with social workers and psychologists. The theoretical framework includes an approach regarding the concepts of social protection, social assistance policy in Brazil, the transformations in the world of work and their rebatimentos social assistance policy. The results indicate progress in relation to human resources management and point out the main challenges to be faced: the understanding of other policies on social assistance, the financing, the (re) composition of the teams and the precarious work. It is considered that despite all these challenges the perceived view by subjects interviewed shows that this is thought-provoking, challenging job that requires commitment and teamwork.
