Resumo:
The activities of oil exploration and production (E and P) in the offshore segment in Brazil has, in recent years, grown above the world average, especially after the recent discoveries in pre-salt area in Santos Basin by Petrobras and the expectation is to increase even further. In this context, the demand for equipment operating in oil production in deep sea, the so-called subsea, emerges as one of the great challenges of the industry, not only because the high technology involved in deep water (more than 500 meters deep), but also by increasingly stringent criteria of safety and respect for the environment, the competition for these devices in a global market increasingly competitive. The demands for these facilities provided on the last Business Plan and Management of Petrobras (PNG 2012/2016), in some cases exceed the world supply industry and is characterized by the need to expand at a rate inconsistent with the need for qualification of suppliers. This study aims to analyze the impact of contracting strategies for the acquisition of Petrobras subsea equipments, from the perspective of professionals in the are analyzing their perceptions of the methodology for contract, regarding not only the collection of existing theories on the subject but also the work done that made scientific references.
