Resumo:
This work presents the attempt to analyse the state of stress of human femur using the method of three-dimensional photoelasticity. The model of woman’s femur was made from the optically sensitive material reglecting the non-homogenity and anisotropy of real bone. The model of femur was loaded by verticalforce and the state of the stresses was analysed within area of the neck, where the fracture of real bone frequently occurs. The special procedure of the manufacturing of the model is discussed in detail. The state of the stress of bollow bone and model filled by viscous fluid is compared. This work should be considered as a first step in the attempt to analyse the stress distribution of the stress in the human’s bones using the methods of three-dimensional photoelasticity.
