Resumo:
The presented work deals with the problem of the state of the stress near the end of the two thick wall cylinders pressed together. The problem was for solved for various configurations of the cylinder by the three-dimensional photo elasticity using stress freezing method. The models were manufactured from the epoxy resin prepared by the special procedure and after stress freezing procedure sliced into the radial and meridial slices. The stresses were determined by numerical integration of the equations of the equilibrium of a elastically deformed body, using cylindrical coordinates.
