Resumo:
Multi-channel data acquisition and visualization systems have been the main option in applications that demand measuring and analyzing test results. In the present work, an extensometry-orientated automated system has been developed, and this system was tested througth real tests on the mechanical engineering environment and analyzed in terms of performance, advantages and disadvantages when applied in three different extensometric techniques (i) the traditional, with Wheatstone Bridge, (ii) Resistance Direct Measuring (4 wires connection), and (iii) Residual Stresses Measuring by the Blind Hotel Method. The developed system manages any extensometric task, and by using friendly interface screens, measuring can be accomplished with some simplicity and very musch efficiency.
