Resumo:
The Pierre Auger Observatory, in the Province of Mendoza Argentina, is in its final phases of construction. Its aimed to determine the characteristics of high energy cosmic rays. The Observatory is collecting data since the beginning of 2004, while the size of the array continue increasing. One of the main topics of research of Auger, is the study of the anisotropy of the arrival direction of the energetic cosmic rays. For that purpose it is necessary to have a good estimative of the angular resolution of the detector. The main limiting element on the accuracy of the angular determination is the arrival time of the particles generated by the cosmic ray in the detectors. In this thesis we study the angular resolution of the Surface Detector (or the Cherenkov radiation detector). This study is based on the comparison of the signals in a subset of detectors deployed very close one from the other (11 m).
