|
The progressive growth of energy blocks to be transmitted
from distant generation sources to load centers determines
the necessity of several extra high voltage systems
studies, taking in account the introdction of new
equipaments to get better economic results.
This work presents a sutdy of saturable reactors, their
behavior and an analysis of their applications,
specifically, in an extra high voltage system.
