This work will present an investigation supported by philosophy and by a research related to child development, its objective aims to define, based on the concept of tuning of affection (Stern 1992), a possible affective interchange available in relationships since birth, as the most primitive masnisfetation of intersubjectivity. From this, it will be argued that by providing an intersubjective interchange, this affective interchange can be involved in the initiation of the identifications process and also in the differences between human beans, participating in a decisive way in the development of subjectivity, this interchange can be considered the precursor behavior of joint attention and other shared practices existing in the culture. Moreover, it will be argued that taking by the bottom line of the pragmatic view of language, this interchange can be considered the first medium of language, since it can be regarded as the first medium of communication and signification.
