Resumo:
Offshore logistics plays a fundamental role in the E and P industry, as the offshore units need to be serviced to maintain and develop their operations. Petrobras operates about 75 offshore units in the Campos Basin, which accounts for 78 per cent of the oil and gas produced in Brazil, and it has a large fleet of Platform Supply Vessels to carry out the transportation of goods and equipment to and from the units. In this study the transportation of deck cargo was analyzed empirically and some aspects which could be improved were identified. The feasibility of reducing the lead time and fleet size was identified and a methodology to achieve this improvement is proposed herein.
