[pt] Este artigo analisa uma espécie de dicção woolfiana na obra de Ursula K. Le
Guin. Assim, investiga-se qual Virginia Woolf aparece nos textos de Le Guin,
interpelada e traduzida por sua gramática íntima. Apropriando-se das
palavras e pensamentos de Woolf, é possível notar a obstinada busca da
autora por uma orientação feminista. Dessa maneira, o artigo finda por se
debruçar sobre o processo de apropriação do ensaio A Room of One s Own
(1929) no contexto da coletânea de crônicas de Le Guin, Searoad: Chronicles of
Klatsand (1991).
Resumo
[en] This article analyzes what might be called a woolfian diction in the work of
Ursula K. Le Guin. That is to say, it investigates which Virginia Woolf
appears in Le Guin s texts, questioned and translated through her intimate
grammar. It is possible to notice the author s obstinate search for a feminist
orientation in her appropriation of and dialogue with Woolf s words and
thoughts. Thus, the article ends up focusing on the process of Le Guin s
appropriation of the essay A Room of One s Own (1929) in the context of her
collection of chronicles, Searoad: Chronicles of Klatsand (1991).
