[pt] Este artigo analisa excertos de entrevistas com estudantes de um
curso pré-vestibular comunitário à luz do Sistema de Avaliatividade
da Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional, com foco no subsistema da
Atitude, particularmente em Afetos e Julgamentos. Por meio de
uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa e interpretativista, busco
compreender como as avaliações dos participantes são construídas discursivamente e quais sentidos emergem dessas escolhas léxico-gramaticais. Os excertos apontam, por um lado, sentimentos de insegurança, desesperança e frustração diante das
desigualdades educacionais vivenciadas; por outro, expressam
afetos positivos relacionados ao acolhimento e ao reconhecimento no espaço comunitário. Entendimentos sugerem que Afetos e
Julgamentos não apenas traduzem experiências pessoais, mas
também constroem narrativas coletivas de resistência e pertencimento, destacando os pré-vestibulares comunitários como espaços de transformação social e educacional.
Resumo
[en] This article analyzes excerpts from interviews with students of acommunity pre-university course through the lens of the AppraisalSystem within Systemic Functional Linguistics, focusing on the subsystem of Attitude, particularly Affect and Judgment. Through qualitative and interpretative research, the aim is to understand how participants evaluations are discursively constructed andwhat meanings emerge from these lexicogrammatical choices.The excerpts reveal, on the one hand, feelings of insecurity, hopelessness, and frustration in the face of educational inequalities; on the other, they express positive affects related to support and recognition within the community space. The findings suggest that Affect and Judgment not only reflect personal experiences but also construct collective narratives of resistance and belonging,emphasizing community-based pre-university initiatives as spaces of social and educational transformation.
