[pt] Há milhares de jovens em grupos de PJ e coletivos juvenis. Estes articulam sua condição juvenil com a transformação da sociedade. Vivenciam seu protagonismo e suas trajetórias na construção de uma sociedade justa e fraterna. Numa interface entre a escatologia e a Teologia pastoral, a presente pesquisa busca investigar as esperanças que mobilizam jovens da PJ e de coletivos juvenis. O que mobiliza estes jovens em suas escolhas? Entendendo a esperança como algo que se narra, esta investigação entrevistou jovens da PJ, do Levante Popular da Juventude, de um grêmio estudantil e do Movimento Popular da Juventude das Regiões metropolitanas do Rio de Janeiro e de Salvador. Iniciamos a pesquisa apresentando a esperança em várias dimensões e em diálogo com vários campos do saber. Os sujeitos da esperança — pessoas jovens, percebidas em sua condição juvenil— são apresentados com destaque para os conceitos de vidas precarizadas, interseccionalidades e negritude. A juventude, como realidade teológica, é percebida a partir do magistério e do olhar de teólogos. A PJ e os coletivos juvenis, tidos como lugares de esperança, são apresentados em suas histórias e em seus referenciais. Posteriormente, na análise das entrevistas, apresenta-se as categorias levantadas: ser você mesmo; a coletividade; a acolhida; o jeito de ser da PJ; a continuidade dos espaços que eles participam; a mística e a batucada; o método e a organização; a criticidade e a luta; o Reino de Deus, o Projeto Popular e a Civilização do Amor. Em seguida, reconhecem-se as perspectivas pastorais e acadêmicas que emergem desta reflexão e que sinalizam demandas e oportunidades. Por fim, retoma-se a ideia de que as esperanças que mobilizam jovens da PJ e dos Coletivos Juvenis, e que a teologia investiga, constituem um posicionamento diante da anti-vida.

[en] There are thousands of young people in youth ministry groups and youth collectives. They articulate their youthful condition with the transformation of society. They experience their protagonism and their trajectories in the construction of a just and fraternal society. At the interface between eschatology and pastoral theology, this research seeks to investigate the hopes that mobilize young people in youth ministry and youth collectives. What mobilizes these young people in their choices? Understanding hope as something that is narrated, this investigation interviewed young people from youth ministry, the Popular Youth Uprising, a student union, and the Popular Youth Movement in the metropolitan regions of Rio de Janeiro and Salvador. We begin the research by presenting hope in various dimensions and in dialogue with various fields of knowledge. The subjects of hope— young people, perceived in their youthful condition—are presented with emphasis on the concepts of precarious lives, intersectionalities, and blackness. Youth, as a theological reality, is perceived from the magisterium and the perspective of theologians. The Youth Ministry (PJ) and youth collectives, considered places of hope, are presented through their histories and references. Subsequently, in the analysis of the interviews, the following categories are presented: being yourself; collectivity; welcoming; the PJ s way of being; the continuity of the spaces they participate in; mysticism and drumming; method and organization; criticality and struggle; the Kingdom of God, the Popular Project, and the Civilization of Love. Next, the pastoral and academic perspectives that emerge from this reflection and that signal demands and opportunities are recognized. Finally, the idea is revisited that the hopes that mobilize young people in the PJ and Youth Collectives, and which theology investigates, constitute a stance against anti-life.
