[pt] Desde o século XIX até os dias atuais, emoções como angústia, raiva e esperança impulsionaram milhares de mulheres na luta por direitos e mobilizaram uma série de ações dos movimentos feministas. A partir das contribuições teóricas de Lucien Febrve, Reinhart Koselleck, Javier Sebastián, Jorge Myers, Ute Frevert, entre outros historiadores, apresentaremos os significados de diferentes formas de sentir para destacar como a emocionalização é uma categoria importante na construção de narrativas sobre o feminino. A pesquisa se debruçou sobre diferentes contextos na América Latina: os primeiros escritos sobre emancipação intelectual na Argentina e no Chile, as vigílias das Mães da Praça de Maio, o artesanato das arpilleras contra as ditaduras militares e os protestos das argentinas piqueteras durante a redemocratização. Percorremos essa história, até chegarmos às grandes mobilizações feministas latino-americanas como o Ni una a menos, a Marea Verde, e as performances do coletivo LASTESIS, como Un violador en tu camino. Apesar de diferentes, todos estes momentos revelam um aspecto em comum: um persistente esforço para combater uma violência sexista que cotidianamente afeta a vida das mulheres.

[en] From the mid-19th century to the present day, emotions like anguish, anger and hope have driven thousands of women to fight for their rights and mobilized the feminist movements. Drawing on the theoretical contributions of Lucien Febrve, Reinhart Koselleck, Javier F. Sebastián, Jorge Myers, Ute Frevert, and other historians, this dissertation investigates the meanings of different feelings to highlight how emotionalization is an important category in the construction of narratives about women. The research focused on different contexts in Latin America: the first writings about women s emancipation in Chile and Argentina, the vigils of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, the art of the arpilleras denouncing military dictatorships and the protests of the argentine piqueteras during the period of redemocratization. We explored this entire history to reaching the huge feminist mobilizations such as the Ni una a menos (Not One Less), the Marea Verde (Green Wave), and the performance Un violador en tu camino (A Rapist on Your Path) by the chilean collective LASTESIS. Despite their differences, these moments reveal a common thread, a persistent effort to combat various forms of sexism, which this dissertation examines as a central aspect that affects women s daily lives.
