[pt] A presente dissertação analisa a cobertura das Olimpíadas de Paris 2024 realizada pela Cazé TV, canal digital que atua por meio de plataformas de streaming. A pesquisa parte de um panorama histórico da relação entre esportes e televisão, observando como essa conexão se reconfigura com o avanço das tecnologias digitais e com o surgimento de novos formatos de transmissão. A Cazé TV, nesse contexto, representa uma proposta inovadora ao unir elementos do jornalismo esportivo tradicional a práticas de comunicação digital marcadas por interatividade, linguagem informal e engajamento nas redes sociais. O estudo foi conduzido por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, análise de conteúdo e entrevistas com colaboradores do canal, buscando compreender as estratégias editoriais adotadas, os critérios de seleção de modalidades e a forma de construção da narrativa esportiva. Os resultados apontam para um modelo híbrido de cobertura, no qual televisão e streaming não se anulam, mas se interconectam em um ecossistema comunicacional em transformação. A Cazé TV, ao trazer uma cobertura acessível, espontânea e diversa, contribui para a ampliação do acesso à informação esportiva e para o debate sobre os novos modos de mediação na era digital.

[en] This dissertation analyzes the coverage of the Paris Olympics 2024 by Cazé TV, a digital channel operating through streaming platforms. The research begins with a historical overview of the relationship between sports and television, examining how this connection is reshaped by the advancement of digital technologies and the emergence of new broadcasting formats. In this context, Cazé TV represents an innovative approach by combining elements of traditional sports journalism with digital communication practices characterized by interactivity, informal language, and social media engagement. The study was conducted through bibliographic research, content analysis, and interviews with the channel’s collaborators, aiming to understand the editorial strategies adopted, the criteria for selecting sports modalities, and the construction of the sports narrative. The findings point to a hybrid coverage model in which television and streaming coexist and interconnect within a transforming communication ecosystem. By offering accessible, spontaneous, and diverse coverage, Cazé TV contributes to broadening access to sports information and fostering debate on new modes of mediation in the digital era.
