[pt] Apresentamos, neste artigo, três re-traduções do poema em tupi antigo
Ka a-eté, da poeta indígena contemporânea Márcia Wayna Kambeba.
Cada uma das retraduções, que se afasta deliberadamente da tradução da
própria poeta, já que não se trata de contestá-la, guia-se por um princípio
diferente: a primeira é etimológica; a segunda, toma o Ka aeté do título
como os Caeté; a terceira, aproxima o poema de outro, A lágrima de uma
floresta, de Nísia Floresta.
Resumo
[en] We present here three re-translations of the poem Ka a-eté, written in
Ancient Tupi by contemporary indigenous poet Márcia Wayna Kambeba.
Each re-translation is guided by a different principle and deliberately
departs from the Kambeba s original self-translation, since it is not a question
of contesting it: the first re-translation is etymological; the second takes the
Ka aeté of the title as the Caeté people; and the third one brings the poem closer to another work, A lágrima de uma floresta (The tear of a forest),
by Nísia Floresta.
