[pt] A presente dissertação tem como objetivo investigar o papel da família como sujeito da evangelização no processo de Iniciação à Vida Cristã, com ênfase na transmissão da fé desde o período gestacional até a primeira infância. Partindo da compreensão de que a família é a primeira comunidade de fé e a principal responsável pela educação religiosa dos filhos, a pesquisa busca evidenciar a importância do ambiente familiar como espaço privilegiado para o desenvolvimento espiritual da criança. A metodologia adotada é de caráter qualitativo, com base em três pilares: a Sagrada Escritura, o Magistério da Igreja e contribuições interdisciplinares da psicologia e da pedagogia, especialmente os estudos de Donald Woods Winnicott sobre o desenvolvimento infantil. O percurso investigativo é estruturado em três capítulos principais: (1) uma análise bíblico teológica sobre a família desde o Antigo Testamento até a Sagrada Família de Nazaré; (2) um panorama dos documentos do Magistério da Igreja, do Concílio Vaticano II aos escritos do Papa Francisco, sobre a evangelização familiar; e (3) uma abordagem psicopedagógica da evangelização na infância, articulando espiritualidade, maturação emocional e prática catequética. Os resultados apontam que a evangelização eficaz deve começar antes mesmo do nascimento, com o envolvimento afetivo dos pais e a vivência concreta da fé no cotidiano familiar. A pesquisa conclui que a iniciação cristã não pode estar restrita à catequese formal das paróquias, mas deve ser precedida e sustentada pela ação evangelizadora da família, que deve ser acompanhada e fortalecida pela Igreja. Com isso, reforça-se a centralidade da família como Igreja doméstica, e a necessidade de uma pastoral familiar que assuma a formação espiritual desde os primeiros anos de vida.

[en] This dissertation aims to investigate the role of the family as a subject of evangelization in the process of Initiation into Christian Life, with emphasis on the transmission of faith from the gestational period through early childhood. Starting from the understanding that the family is the first community of faith and the primary agent responsible for the religious education of children, the research highlights the importance of the family environment as a privileged space for the child s spiritual development. The methodology employed is qualitative, based on three pillars: Sacred Scripture, the Magisterium of the Church, and interdisciplinary contributions from psychology and pedagogy—especially the work of Donald Woods Winnicott on child development. The study is structured in three main chapters: (1) a biblical-theological analysis of the family from the Old Testament to the Holy Family of Nazareth; (2) an overview of the Church’s Magisterial documents—from the Second Vatican Council to the teachings of Pope Francis— on family evangelization; and (3) a psych-pedagogical approach to evangelization in early childhood, combining spirituality, emotional development, and catechetical practice. The results indicate that effective evangelization must begin even before birth, with the affective involvement of parents and the concrete living out of faith in the daily life of the family. The research concludes that Christian initiation must not be confined to parish-based catechesis but should be preceded and sustained by the family s evangelizing mission, which must be supported and strengthened by the Church. Thus, the study reaffirms the centrality of the family as a domestic Church and the need for a family ministry that embraces spiritual formation from the earliest stages of life.
