[pt] A filantropia do Verbo fez surgir, do absoluto nada, o cosmos com sua magnânima e harmônica beleza. Tudo era absolutamente bom e estupendo até o momento em que a criatura humana exerceu sua racionalidade e liberdade para colocar o Criador de lado. Exatamente neste instante, nasce a possibilidade de enxergar-se em primeiro lugar, ou seja, o ser humano contemplou aquilo que era mais próximo de si quando abandonou a contemplação do Senhor. Neste momento, os desejos desacerbados tornam-se parâmetros para as relações humanas e também para as relações com a criação. A autossatisfação inaugurou o tempo da corrupção e da morte. No entanto, Deus não cria em vista da destruição, mas, pela encarnação do Verbo, manifesta-se novamente à humanidade, possibilitando que seja contemplado e amado. E, com isso, mais uma vez a filantropia do Verbo haveria de tocar a criação. Olhando para Jesus e convivendo com Ele, todos têm uma nova oportunidade de contemplar o Criador e aprender d Ele como viver novamente a harmonia entre seus semelhantes e com toda a natureza. Este é o parâmetro contemplativo restaurado pela encarnação do Verbo e que se estende mesmo após sua ascensão aos céus. Hoje, enxergar o Senhor é viver no Espírito Santo para pertencer ao Corpo-Igreja do Senhor e para vê-Lo nos sinais visíveis dos sacramentos, em especial na augusta e santa Eucaristia. Portanto, hoje torna-se possível constituir uma civilização do amor pelo simples fato de existir a possibilidade de contemplar mais uma vez o Criador.

[en] The Philanthropy of the Word brought forth, from absolute nothingness, the cosmos with its magnificent and harmonious beauty. Everything was absolutely good and splendid until the moment when the human creature exercised its reason and freedom to set aside the Creator. It was precisely at this moment that the possibility arose of seeing oneself first in other words, humanity began to contemplate what was closest to itself once it had abandoned the contemplation of the Lord. From then on, disordered desires became the standard for human relationships, and also for relationships with creation. Self-satisfaction inaugurated the age of corruption and death. However, God does not create for destruction; once again, the philanthropy of the Word would reach creation now through the incarnation of the Word, so that the Lord God might once again be seen and loved. By looking at Jesus and living with Him, all have a new opportunity to contemplate the Creator and to learn from Him how to once again live in harmony with one another and with all of nature. This is the contemplative standard restored by the incarnation of the Word, and it extends even after His ascension into heaven. Today, to see the Lord is to live in the Holy Spirit, to belong to the Body-Church of the Lord, and to see Him in the visible signs of the sacraments especially in the august and holy Eucharist. Therefore, it is now possible to build a civilization of love for the simple reason that we once again have the possibility of contemplating the Creator.
