[pt] Esta dissertação examina os Conceitualistas de Moscou, da URSS tardia, refletindo sobre sua estética e sua filosofia. Para isso, contextualiza historicamente a cena artística não oficial na URSS pós-Stálin, analisando as causas e implicações da prática dos Conceitualistas. Diferenciando-se do restante da cena underground, seu trabalho operava uma descrição imersiva da sociedade, evidenciando mecanismos de inculcação da subjetividade soviética. Expondo a construção intencional desse processo, sua prática pensava sobre a maleabilidade das subjetividades e das ideologias e a eficácia da formação do sujeito idealizado pelo Estado. Assim, permitia nova leitura da existência na URSS, oferecendo espaço crítico para pensar arte, ideologia e liberdade. Enfim, é uma reflexão filosófica sobre existencialismo e marxismo, na mencionada circunstância histórica.

[en] This dissertation examines the Moscow Conceptualists of the late USSR, reflecting on their aesthetics and philosophy. It historically contextualizes the unofficial art scene in the post-Stalin USSR, analyzing the causes and implications of the Conceptualists practice. Differentiating from the rest of the scene, their work provided an immersive description of society, highlighting mechanisms for inculcating Soviet subjectivity. By exposing the intentional construction of this process, the practice reflected upon the malleability of subjectivities and of ideologies and upon the effectiveness of the formation of the subject idealized by the state. Thus, it allowed a new reading of the existence in the USSR, offering critical space to think about art, ideology and freedom. In short, it is a reflection on existentialism and Marxism, in such a historical circumstance.
