[pt] Esta tese busca contribuir com os estudos sobre os caminhos possíveis engendrados pelo pensamento feminista marxista no que diz respeito à conquista de direitos e à extensão da democracia. Considerando a condição social das mulheres como local privilegiado da análise esta tese investiga como o advento da modernidade e do capitalismo definiu as funções e os locais subordinados que deveriam ser desempenhados e ocupados pelas mulheres, o que refletiu na desigualdade de direitos e, portanto, na implementação de um modelo limitado de democracia. Não obstante, com a formação do pensamento socialista, no final do século XIX, verifica-se o surgimento de um projeto emancipatório que pretende pôr fim às opressões de gênero e classe. Ou seja, desde o advento do pensamento de Marx encontram-se esforços que levam em conta a necessidade de transformação da condição social das mulheres como elemento indispensável do combate ao capitalismo rumo à revolução. Deste modo, analisa-se a trajetória do pensamento marxista revigorado no início do século XXI para o qual a questão das mulheres se apresenta como elemento incontornável para formação da luta de classes, extensão da democracia e combate ao capitalismo.

[en] This thesis seeks to contribute to studies on the possible paths engendered by marxist feminist thought with regard to the conquest of rights and the extension of democracy. Considering the social condition of women as a privileged place of analysis, this thesis investigates how the advento of modernity and capitalism defined the functions and subordinate places that should be performed and occupied by women, which reflected in the inequality of rights and, therefore, in the implementation of a limited model of democracy. However, with the formation of socialist thought, at the end of the 19th century, there is the emergence of an emancipatory project that intends to put an end to gender and class oppression. That is, since the advent of Marx s thought, there have been efforts that take into account the need to transform the social condition of women as an indispensable element in the fight against capitalism towards revolution. In this way, the trajectory of reinvigorated marxista thought at the beginning of the 21st century is analyzed, for which the women s question presents itself as an unavoidable element for the formation of the class struggle, the extension of democracy and the fight against capitalism.
