[pt] A presente dissertação versa sobre a migração nordestina na favela da Rocinha localizada na zona sul da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, tendo como objeto de estudo a feira do Boiadeiro, que deste de 1970 acontece todos os domingos no Largo do Boiadeiro localizado na parte baixa da favela. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, cujo o trilho metodológico percorrido está pautado na revisão bibliográfica realizada de maneira contínua e sistemática; observação participante e na entrevista de história oral, tendo como motivação compreeder a Feira do Boaideiro como um lugar de memória do nordeste na favela da Rocinha. A proposta do trabalho em tela é apresentar uma visão criativa e ampliada acerca das categorias migração nordentina e favela, a partir do paradigma das mobilidades e do poder inventivo dos territórios populares traduzidos como potência, a partir da memória dos migrantes nordestinos de primeira geração residentes na Rocinha. Os resultados obtidos permitiram compreender os principais fatores que motivaram a migração, a escolha de residir na Rocinha e a importância da memória como instrumento garantidor do direito à cidade aos migrantes, preservação da cultura e construção da identidade nordestina da favela.

[en] This dissertation deals with the migration from the Northeast to the Rocinha favela, located in the southern part of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Its object of study is the Feira do Boiadeiro, which has been held every Sunday since 1970 at Largo do Boiadeiro, located in the lower part of the favela. This is a qualitative study, whose methodological path is based on a continuous and systematic bibliographic review; participant observation and oral history interviews, with the motivation to understand the Feira do Boaideiro as a place of memory of the Northeast in the Rocinha favela. The purpose of this work is to present a creative and expanded vision of the categories of migration from the Northeast and the favela, based on the paradigm of mobility and the inventive power of popular territories translated as power, based on the memory of first-generation Northeastern migrants living in Rocinha. The results obtained allowed us to understand the main factors that motivated migration, the choice to reside in Rocinha and the importance of memory as an instrument guaranteeing the right to the city for migrants, preserving culture and building the northeastern identity of the favela.
