[pt] Este trabalho discute a motivação dos colaboradores à luz de referenciais teóricos atinentes à gestão estratégica de pessoas. O estudo teve como objetivo analisar a gestão estratégica de metas voltada para a alta produtividade em uma instituição financeira (Empresa X) e, a partir da visão dos colaboradores, refletir, com base em teorias de pesquisadores e especialistas no assunto, se esta é utilizada como ferramenta propulsora para motivação do colaborador. Na empresa estudada, na visão dos colaboradores, o regime de metas tem sido implementado de forma agressiva, afetando não só a motivação como a Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho (QVT).

[en] This work discusses employee motivation in light of theoretical references relating to strategic people management. The study aimed to analyze the strategic management of goals aimed at high productivity in a financial institution (Company X) and, from the employees perspective, reflect, based on theories from researchers and experts on the subject, whether this is used as a driving tool for employee motivation. In the company studied, in the view of employees, the target regime has been implemented aggressively, affecting not only motivation but also Quality of Life at Work (QWL).
