[pt] As romarias a Juazeiro do Norte costumam ser definidas por diferentes grupos de atores sociais com base na tríade: chamado - graça recebida - retorno; piedade e penitência também figuram nessa caracterização. Entretanto, outros aspectos se insinuam, embora nem sempre sejam devidamente considerados, em nome da reificação de elementos que seriam particulares àquela que é a maior romaria popular do país. Este artigo apresenta reflexões sobre as romarias a Juazeiro do Norte por meio de variáveis que, cada vez mais se impõem às observações, mas que, até então, não figuravam como objetos prioritários/legítimos de análises: a viagem, a virtualização de práticas religiosas e o crescimento da participação de não devotos. As reflexões foram construídas a partir das observações de três pesquisadoras e partindo de um processo metodológico que compreende o trabalho de campo, a realização de entrevistas e conversas informais com variados sujeitos, apresentam diferentes lentes que apontam para a necessidade de compreender a pluralidade de vozes que constituem os eventos romeiros, ao tempo em que observam os diferentes sentidos atribuídos ao deslocamento. As mudanças em curso indicam também o impulsionamento da virtualização de práticas religiosas e a compreensão de uma forma de fazer romaria destituída de motivação devocional.

[en] Pilgrimages to Juazeiro do Norte are usually defined by different groups of social actors based on the triad: called - grace received - return; piety and penance also figure in this characterization. However, other aspects appear, although they are not always properly considered, in the name of reifying elements that would be particular to what is the largest popular pilgrimage in the country. This article present reflections on the pilgrimages to Juazeiro do Norte through variables that increasingly imposethemselves on observations, but which, until then, did not appear as priority/legitimate objects of analysis: the journey, the virtualization of religious practices and the growth of participation of non-devotees. The reflections were constructed based on the observations of three researchers and based on a methodological process that includes fieldwork, interviews and informal conversations with various subjects, the researchers present different lenses that point to the need to understand the plurality of voices that constitute pilgrim events, while observing the different meanings attributed to displacement. The ongoing changes also indicate the boost in the virtualization of religious practices and the understanding of a way of carrying out pilgrimages devoid of devotional motivation.
