[pt] A Economia do Cuidado tem sido um tema cada vez mais presente nos debates públicos. Nessa dissertação, analisamos a Economia do Cuidado com foco no trabalho doméstico não remunerado, presente na maioria dos lares brasileiros, que é feito majoritariamente por mulheres e meninas. Usamos a Teoria da Reprodução Social e a perspectiva interseccional para observarmos e contextualizarmos a invisibilidade desse trabalho pela sociedade e, concomitantemente, a exploração desse trabalho pelo Capital. Analisamos as consequências dessa exploração na saúde física e mental dessas mulheres e meninas, e reclamamos o cuidado delas como direito. A inserção do tema Espiritualidade acontece na percepção de que essa é uma dimensão do humano, e que também sofre pela sobrecarga de cuidado na qual mulheres e meninas estão submetidas. Finalmente, propomos uma espiritualidade cristã que seja pautada na justiça, compaixão, e na práxis de Jesus Cristo a fim de oferecer libertação a essas mulheres e meninas. O início dessa transformação se dá no rejeite da romantização do sofrimento delas, compreendendo que o cuidado é um lugar do Espírito e, por isso, ele precisa estar presente para humanizar as dinâmicas de cuidado, e promover uma atitude crística de antevisão e alívio da sobrecarga de mulheres e meninas, promovendo assim uma vida e saúde integral às mulheres e meninas.

[en] The Care Economy has become an increasingly prominent topic in public debates. In this dissertation, we analyze the Care Economy with a focus on unpaid domestic work, which is present in most Brazilian households and is predominantly carried out by women and girls. We employ Social Reproduction Theory and an intersectional perspective to examine and contextualize the invisibility of this work in society and, simultaneously, its exploitation by Capital. We analyze the consequences of this exploitation on the physical and mental health of these women and girls and claim their right to care. The inclusion of the theme of Spirituality arises from the understanding that it is a dimension of human existence and that it, too, suffers under the burden of care to which women and girls are subjected. Finally, we propose a Christian spirituality rooted in justice, compassion, and the praxis of Jesus Christ to offer liberation to these women and girls. The beginning of this transformation lies in rejecting the romanticization of their suffering, understanding that care is a place of the Spirit and, therefore, must be present to humanize care dynamics and promote a Christ like attitude of foresight and relief from the burdens placed upon women and girls. In doing so, we aim to foster holistic life and health for women and girls.
