[pt] A presente tese, a partir da análise exegética de Nm 18,8-24, estuda a pessoa de Aarão como referência sacerdotal que recebeu diretamente as palavras de YHWH e as transmitiu aos filhos de Israel. Nas últimas quatro décadas, não houve muitos trabalhos desenvolvidos sobre o livro de Números (apesar de recentemente haver certo aumento da pesquisa sobre esse livro), em particular sobre Nm 18,8-14. Assim, este trabalho contribui com relevância e novidade. Fazer a análise exegética do texto foi o principal objetivo, permitindo investigar o papel de Aarão como referência sacerdotal que recebeu as palavras de YHWH sobre os ganhos dos sacerdotes e levitas em seus serviços cúlticos. Com isso, percebe-se que Nm 18,8-24 confirma a importância da corrente sacerdotal na redação final do livro de Números. Apesar de conter materiais não sacerdotais, esse livro realça e atesta a atuação fundamental dos sacerdotes e dos levitas em favor de Israel e que, em decorrência disso, devem receber, com suas famílias, as retribuições devidas. O método histórico-crítico foi utilizado como ferramenta indispensável para se chegar a uma compreensão mais profunda e aprimorada de Nm 18,8-24, mas não única, já que os métodos sincrônicos estão bem caracterizados, considerando a forma final e canônica do livro. Observa-se que a seção possui uma introdução, cinco subseções e uma conclusão, de forma bem delimitada com coerência e coesão, dado corroborado pelos elementos sintáticos e semânticos que a compõem. Aarão é personagem central e destinatário direto da palavra de YHWH. Ao se classificar Nm 18,8-24 como torá sacerdotal, atesta se a sacralidade do culto e do serviço dos sacerdotes e levitas, pelos quais Israel pode ser preservado de conflitos e de sofrer danos mortais (Nm 16–17).

[en] This thesis, through an exegetical analysis of Numbers 18,8-24, studies Aaron as a priestly reference who directly receives YHWH s words and conveys them to the children of Israel. Considering that, in the last four decades, few works have been developed on the Book of Numbers (although there has recently been some increase in research on this book), particularly on Numbers 18,8-14, this study contributes with relevance and novelty. The primary goal was to conduct an exegetical analysis of the text, allowing an investigation of Aaron s role as a priestly figure who received YHWH s words concerning the priests and Levites gains from their cultic services. Consequently, it is observed that Numbers 18,8-24 confirms the importance of the priestly tradition in the final composition of the Book of Numbers. While it contains non-priestly materials, this book emphasizes and attests to the fundamental role of priests and Levites in favor of Israel and asserts that they, along with their families, are to receive due compensation. The historical-critical method was employed as an indispensable tool to achieve a deeper and refined understanding of Numbers 18,8-24, but not exclusively, as synchronic methods are also well represented in this work. It is noted that the section is clearly structured, with an introduction, five subsections, and a conclusion, displaying coherence and cohesion, as corroborated by its syntactic and semantic elements. Aaron stands as the central figure and direct recipient of YHWH s word. By classifying Numbers 18,8-24 as priestly Torah, the sacredness of the worship and service performed by the priests and Levites is affirmed, through which Israel is preserved from conflicts and mortal harm (Numbers 16–17).
